room1Rising Middle and High School Parents, As we wrap up the 2023-2024 school year, we want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your support and dedication to our students' education. Your partnership has been invaluable in creating a thriving community, and we are incredibly grateful for your commitment to our shared mission.

As we eagerly anticipate the upcoming school year, we have some exciting updates. We are happy to announce that for the upcoming academic year, 7th through 9th grade students will be housed in Building B. As it commonly goes with construction projects, the building updates took longer than anticipated. However, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we have made significant improvements to the building, including enhancements to the fire system, additional internet access points, new drywall, and upgraded electrical work. We are confident that these updates will provide a safe, and conducive learning environment for our students.new doors

We are also excited to introduce you to our high school instructional team, consisting of Mandy Ohler, Dawn Rector, and Heather Church. With their expertise and dedication, we are confident that they will continue to inspire and empower our students' growth.

Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce that our school has been selected to participate in the South Carolina CTE Immersive Learning Academy, a groundbreaking grant opportunity funded by the South Carolina Department of Education. This program will offer Virtual Reality Career Technical Education classes, providing our students with hands-on learning experiences in healthcare, trades, technology, and life sciences. We are proud to be one of only 30 schools across the state chosen for this exclusive opportunity, and we are excited about the possibilities it will bring for our students.

Sponsored by the State Department of Education, this curriculum will empower our students with the skills and mindset necessary to excel in any career path they choose.

We invite you to Open House on July 23rd to learn more about our middle and high school experience. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to meet with teachers, tour the campus, and learn more about what to expect in the year ahead.

More information is to come. Thank you for entrusting us with the education and development of your child. Together, we will continue to inspire and prepare our students for a promising future.
